Two Four Nine is a print and online publication exploring ideas, design philosophy, art and research by a Melbourne-based Architecture and Interior Design practice in an attempt to identify them as design-informed while engaging a broader audience. Referencing the architectural roots, we developed the publication around the idea of a sense of place. The brand identity incorporates a grid system, reminiscent of an urban cityscape, whilst the name is derived from the physical location of the practice on Melbourne’s iconic Chapel Street. With a strategic approach to content, we worked with writers and artists to create a print and digital publication featuring high-end design and art pieces, thought pieces, commissions and feature interviews to shape Two Four Nine as a platform where Melbourne’s rich artistic landscape can be celebrated.
