After venturing across Japan and studying the work of respected brewmasters, co-owners Yuta and Shar founded Toji Sake - a premium saké that provides a bridge between a classic Japanese drink and the modern Australian palate.
We were approached to develop an e-commerce store, produce ongoing content and manage their social accounts, working with their existing minimal and timeless brand identity. Through our work with Toji, we established their unique brand image, differentiating it from other sake brands in a way that is distinctly Australian.
Hortenzia acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong Boon Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin Nation as the traditional and ongoing custodians of the lands on which we work. We pay respect to their Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge that sovereignty has never been ceded and recognise First Nations peoples’ rights to self-determination and continuing connections to land, waters and community.
