Identity Design, Collateral Design and Motion Design

The Investor Group on Climate Change (IGCC) are the authoritative voice on climate finance and investment. We were engaged at the beginning of 2024 to create the brand identity for their annual IGCC Summit. The Summit brings together a powerful network of investors, businesses, and policymakers, addressing critical climate finance challenges and opportunities for those committed to driving progress. The branding for the Summit had to use the overarching IGCC branding, leveraging from that existing authority and standing within the sustainability and finance industry. While the IGCC branding was an important framework, the new branding had to standout and represent a bold, progressive, trustworthy, energetic and serious event. We created a design system for the annual event, with the flexibility to be adapted each year as the event conitnues to evolve. We used the existing design language of the IGCC brand, including the curves and linework, as the building blocks for the event identity. The event logo has the ability to change to include the various information required and to suit the brand items for the event, from social posts to presentation screen to lanyards. The logo can also be adapted each year while utilising the same typeface, shape and layouts for consistency. The design system had to be implemented by the client, with a focus on creating various outcomes with ease.
