Melbourne based fashion label DORO embodies the idea of slow fashion, creating handmade relaxed staple pieces in limited production using innovative pattern making techniques. Their fascination with shape, colour and paint informed our approach to the logo and brand identity, using motion design and abstract alignment to encapsulate the playful and forward-thinking side of the brand. The identity is balanced with minimal photography to encompass the timeless quality of the clothing, and the e-commerce store focuses on functionality and ease-of-use for their design-informed audience.
Hortenzia acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong Boon Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin Nation as the traditional and ongoing custodians of the lands on which we work. We pay respect to their Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge that sovereignty has never been ceded and recognise First Nations peoples’ rights to self-determination and continuing connections to land, waters and community.
